On 22nd and 23rd March, 2024 and March 22, 2024, Ecovip TNUS team organized and run the workshop "Ecotourism and sustainable development".
On the first, the main contents of the workshop include: Summary of the report on the results of the ToT2 in Porto – Portugal; sustainability in Tourism: principles; how to promote sustainability in a Tourism Destination; what Ecotourism really means: The concept and its core principles; environmental aspects & ecotourism.
On the second day, participating worked in groups to analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges about ecotourism in Vietnam in particular, and present ideas about development strategies then design sustainable eco-tourism products.
Replication ToT2 attracted more than 40 lecturers and students with positive interactive activities which helped raise awareness and change thinking about sustainable development in the tourism industry.
