On September 12 2023, Thai Nguyen University of Sciences (TNUS) officially launched the startup competition "Creative Startup Ideas 2023-2024". This is the 3rd season of the TNUS Creative Startup Ideas. As the name suggests, this is the school's playground for the facilitation of the development of students' creativity and business ideas.
In the frame of program, TNUS also introduced ECOViP project “Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Ecotourism to support sustainable development in Vietnam and the Philippines”.
The ECOVIP project co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by Nha Trang University, aims to develop entrepreneurial and innovation capacities for sustainable development in tourism in Vietnam and the Philippines. This project will promote the development of innovative interdisciplinary entrepreneurial Ecotourism projects by Higher Education Institution students, in cooperation with the private sector. ECOVIP also intends to develop a roadmap for the improvement of the education programmes in Tourism, with the guidance of the private sector.
In addition, TNUS startup creative idea with high results will be able to participate in higher-level startup competitions and participate in training courses on startup projects in Philippines within the ECOViP framework.
